Don’t you just hate it when you’re taking your dog for a walk and, with your luck, there’s another person that’s walking their dog right towards you? You know that moment of awkward interaction is about to come and there’s nothing you can do but suck it up. It’s for the dogs, right?
In my area, there are a great amount of animal shelters (excluding the Animal Control pound). There’s the county SPCA, Maryland’s SPCA up in Baltimore, as well as one that has separated itself from the SPCA name – BARCS Animal Shelter.
One word: Greenies.
If you’ve ever given your dog these dental chews, you might know that they have the power to make your dog go crazy (for them, of course). I’ve experienced this first hand with Savannah (just look at that concentration on her face in the picture below). Every single morning after our walk, we come back inside and head straight for the kitchen. She knows, I know, we all know – it’s Greenie time.
